MENTEE supports our community members and anyone who needs our sessions, with monthly mental health events through our partner Key of Life and the incredible Deema Vol Kol. These sessions share tools and skills that can help anyone create a better life for themselves and those they care about. Mental Health Sessions

Posters from our monthly mental health sessions, shared as part of our ongoing community engagement.

This session explored how individuals can navigate uncertainty by developing greater emotional awareness and intentional responses. Led by Deema Akl, a Clinical Psychology graduate student, the session focused on practical strategies for managing emotional turbulence, fostering resilience, and directing personal energy toward growth and psychological well-being.

This healing workshop explored resilience through the principles of Acceptance and Commitment in Action, creating space for reflection, mindful acceptance, and values-driven action. Participants engaged with ideas and practices that reframed challenges as opportunities for growth, purpose, and deeper connection. The session encouraged thoughtful self-reflection and supported participants in reconnecting with their capacity to grow through life’s difficulties.
